The 8th edition of 'The Front at the Fort' will take place on Sunday, 31 May, Monday 1 and Tuesday 2 June at the Fort Montecchio Nord in Colico. It's a historical re-enactment at the fort.
During the event, groups of re-enactors in period uniform recreate the daily life of the soldiers of the Border Guard. The various areas of the building (barracks, infirmary, field kitchen and offices) are furnished with materials and objects from the period and brought to life by re-enactors performing real military activities: guard duties, training, inspections and scenes from daily life.
Entrance with ticket. No time constraints. The Fort is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
