Route
The route starts from Roccoli di Artesso (1209 m), where there is a large picnic area. Here, near a small lake surrounded by larches, we can visit a number of gunboats, fitted to host big artillery calibers of Cadorna Line.
At the end of the paved road, we go right on the path that goes along a snare for bird catching dated back to 1800 and used, until a few years ago, for capturing birds for scientific purposes.
Passed Refuge Bellano (1309 m), the route continues through the larches woods on the slopes of Mount Legnoncino, where there are some trenches and underground shelters. Beyond a last rise, the trail levels out and leads to the beautiful grassy plain of Roccoli Lorla (1450 m). Just above, following the indications, there is Refuge Roccoli Lorla (1463 m). 
Beyond Roccoli Lorla meadows, we can take both the path we have already gone through or, if we'd like to change route, we can take the path on the right and go down to the beautiful village of Sommafiume (1097 m).
From here, in the upper part of the built-up area, we can take the path that brings us back to Roccoli di Artesso.
