The 10th edition of Passteggiando, the food and wine walk in the Nature Reserve of Pian di Spagna and Lake Mezzola, will take place on Sunday, 14th June.
The walk is long about 10 km and it is in the Pian di Spagna Nature Reserve and along the shores of Lake Mezzola. Along the flat route there are 9 food & wine stations.
Route
Participants will arrive by their own cars at the car park above the Lido of Novate Mezzola, where they will board the shuttle bus that will take them to the start of the walk. The walk starts from the "Macine" car park in the municipality of Sorico, crosses the Casello 7 district (municipality of Dubino), runs along the entire lakefront of the municipality of Verceia and ends at the Lido of Novate Mezzola. Along the route the participants will find 9 stations where they can taste local specialties and wines produced by the wineries of the Costiera dei Cech and of the Valchiavenna. Near the Lido in Novate Mezzola, where the walk will end, there will be a market with typical products.
Tour departures every 15 minutes. First departure at 8.15 a.m..
The event will take place with any weather conditions. Appropriate clothing recommended (in case of bad weather bring Kway and umbrellas).
Prices:
Adults: € 38.00 - Junior from 8 to 17 years: € 25.00 - Baby from 3 to 7 years: € 8.00 - From 0 to 2 years free admission (accompanied by paying adult).
The fee includes registration, tastings along the route, a pocket with a glass and transport by shuttle bus from the car park to the starting point.
