Palazzo Gallio

Palazzo Gallio

The imposing Palazzo Gallio was built in 1586 over the ruins of the ancient castle of Gravedona, on the shores of the lake. Commissioned by Bishop Tolomeo Gallio as a “House of Delight”, it is an extraordinary example of late Renaissance architecture that has no equal among the historic buildings of Lake Como.
Its large halls, characteristic terraces overlooking Lake Como, and beautiful garden make Palazzo Gallio the perfect place to host events, concerts, exhibitions, meetings and receptions of all kinds.
The romantic atmosphere, elegance of the sumptuous palazzo and magnificent view from the terraces make it a unique and unforgettable location for couples who choose to have their wedding here.
