Churches Gravedona ed Uniti

Dedicated to San Martino, the church is located in Traversa, a hamlet of Gravedona ed Uniti. Built as a parish church in 1632, the building was completely rebuilt in its present form in 1682, according to an inscription on the entrance door.
The church has a single nave, with four side chapels and a deep rectangular presbytery. Inside, there are several frescoes of San Martino (St Martin), a painting of “St Charles in Prayer”, a painting depicting the “Madonna and Child between Saints Luigi Gonzaga and Rosalia”, a wooden statue of the “Virgin of the Rosary with Child” and a sculpture of “St Francesco di Paola” and a wooden crucifix attributed to Antonio Maria Caraccioli da Vercana.
